CHI Report

I just got back from the 2026 ACM (Association for Computing Machinery) CHI conference on Human Factors in Computing Systems, where I presented my PhD work. The CHI conference is the premier venue for publishing Human-Computer Interaction (HCI) work, and being published there is considered more important than a journal article in my field (strangely enough—it’s weird for most other fields to value conferences above journals). At the conference, I found many very interesting people who were working on problems that were relevant to us at the Beaty.
