Image Automation

Today’s topic will be Digitization Automation, or, How do I control a camera with a computer (and why should I?). I have been working on ways to automate our digitization processes to support high-quality imaging, and have figured out how to control some of our existing imaging equipment programmatically. The advantage is that we can potentially streamline imaging systems with relatively little extra equipment or infrastructure. I’ll do some demos so that you can see the processes in action, and think about where it might apply to your work.
