Publication Automation
Today’s topic will be automated publishing to GBIF. Right now, I publish your data by request, however, I have been working with both sides of the Herbarium to figure out how to automate their data backups and publishing. The goal of the project is to make it as easy for people to work in Specify as possible and be able to control the outcome of their GBIF publishing. In the seminar, I will outline how things are published to GBIF currently, walk through a demonstration publication, and show how automation can work for your collection.
